Policeman killed intentionally

 CAMP MAJ. GEN. KARINGAL—PO1 Ivon Ray Atilano,32, killed in front Building No.7, Sikatuna Bliss., Bgy. Botocan, Quezon City at around 12:15 am, yesterday.

As stated by the witness, Fernando Calipes, the victim was boarded his driven tricycle when the unidentified suspect appeared and intent to kill PO1 Ivon. The suspect covered the lower portion of his face with a towel and had a handgun on his hand.

Without any aggravation, the suspect hit PO1 Atilano on his chest then it fled and bringing the fatal weapon that he used in the crime scene.

After the crime scene, the witness rushed the victim to East Avenue Medical Center for treatment, but he was declared as dead on arrival at around 1:10 in the morning. PO1 Atilano sustained gunshot wounds on his chest and back part of his body.

Additionaly, the investigation and follow up is still on the hand of Quezon City Police. The OCT investigation recovered from the tricycle pieces of defored plugs of unknown caliber. Meanwhile, the body of the victim stays at the hospital morgue. Elmar Cundangan and Rochelle Placino (Intern)

Senior Citizen killed on her own store

Camp KARINGAL— An old woman gunned down on her sari-sari store at Sarmiento St., Bgy. Sta. Monica, Quezon City, around 8pm of April 18.

Victim Corazon Santos, 66, residing at the stated address above, was having a conversation with her son, Sabino Santos, when one of the suspects appeared carrying a 45 calibre gun on his hand and shot the Corazon on her head.

According to the son of the victim, he believes that the cause of his mother’s death was in line to grave coercion theft and malis chief, which being filed by his mother against their neighbor couple Napoleon and Vilma Guerero because of the heated argument happened last April 15, Sunday. The main root of the said argument was the construction between their houses.

Subsequently, the suspects fled and boarded to a waiting motorcycle along Geronimo St. driven by another suspects and ran off towards Quirino Highway.

Meanwhile, one of the suspects who handed the gun described by the witness, as about 5’ 2” tall, heavy built, fair complexion, and wearing black jacket.

Taxi Driver found dead along QC street

A man found lying dead at Commonwealth Ave., infront of UP Campus Diliman Quezon City, around 12:30 in the morning, yesterday.

The victim was identified as Fernando Gonzalez, 48, taxi driver, residing at Lunining St. Lagro Subd. Lagro, Quezon City.

According to Joey Rigor Vergil, a volunteer of Philippine Red Cross- Quezon City chapter together with his team is on board going to Fairview area to rescue a motorcycle accident, when they noticed a man lying along the street. And upon their arrival they save the body of the victim and rushed it to the East Avenue Medical Center.

On the other hand, a vehicle, which is the driven taxi cab of the suspect found several meters away from the body of the victim. And during the inspection, they recovered a cellular phone and his driver’s license.

Meanwhile, the victim sustained lone stabbed on his chest and laceration wounds on his back, that causes his death and declared dead on arrival.

Riding in tandem gunned down a man

A middle age man was shot on his head in front of No.002 Dear St. Corner Don Fabian, Bgy. Commonwealth, Quezon City at around 7:30pm, Monday.

Reginald Mangali, 36, victim, residing at No.017 Dear St. Corner Don Fabian, Bgy. Commonwealth, Quezon City.

As stated to the report of PO3 L. Tigno, the victim was walking on his way home from a nearby computer shop when the suspects, riding with the two motorcycles, apprehend and parked their motor vehicle in front of Primitive Blotcom computer shop.

After that, the three unidentified suspects come near to Mangali and pulled out their respective hand guns and shot the victim several times that cause his immediate death on the spot. The suspects ran away towards the direction of Commonwealth Avenue.

According to the investigation, the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his head and back of his body. The case investigation is still on the process. Rochelle Placino and Elmar Cndangan (trainee)

Chop-Chop na katawan, natagpuan sa QC

Patuloy ang pag-iimbestiga ng Quezon City Police ukol sa pagkakatagpo ng hiwahiwalay na katawan ng isang lalaki sa naturang lungsod.

Ayon kay SPO3 Eden Pascua, natagpuan ni Romulo Ecat, isang village official, ang kaliwang binti parte, may burdadong tattoo ‘Boogie Ventura’, sa San Mateo Rd. Batasan Hills bandang alas-6 ng umaga.

Dagdag pa nito, ang natagpuang chop-chop na parte ng katawan ay nakabalot sa garbage bag.

Samantala, nakakita rin si Clixto Alberto ng kanan at kaliwang parteng braso, na nakabalot rin sa isang garbage bag,  sa Saturina St. Brgy Sauyo naman, 10 kilometro lamang ang layo nito sa Batasan Hills.

Hinala ng pulisya ng Quezon City, ang naturang chop-chop na bahagi ng katawan ay nabibilang sa katawan ng isang lalaki. At patuloy pa rin ang imbestigasyon, kung ang dalawang magkakahiwalay na chop-chop na katawan ay nanggaling sa iisang biktima ng murder. (Elmar Cundangan)

Binatilyo, nalunod sa La Mesa Dam, PATAY!

Isang binatilyo, 16, ang binawian ng buhay matapos malunod sa La Mesa Dam noong Abril 16, Lunes.

Ayon sa police report na ginawa ni SPO2 A. Quisumbing, walang pahintulot na tumawid ang sampung binatilyo, na maliligo sa nasabing Dam, kasama ang nasawing binata.

Kinilala ang biktima na si John Lester Galan, na resident e ng 036 Group 6, Samar St. Bgy. Payatas, Quezon City.

Hindi pa man nagtatagal, ibinalita ng isa sa mga kasamahan ng biktima kay Romana Galan, ina ng binatilyong nalunod, ang kinahinatnan nito. Agad namang ipinagbigay alam ito sa awtoridad at Security personnel ng La Mesa Dam Water Reservoir.

Samantala, natagpuan ng Maritime Coast Guard Frogmen at Maritime Group PNP-NCR ang bangkay ng binata bandang alas 12:16 kahapon ng hating gabi. Sanggol nahulog sa kama, Patay!

PATAY ang isang anim na buwang sanggol matapos umanong mahulog sa kama noong Huwebes ng gabi sa Mauban St., Bgy. Manresa, Quezon City.

Kalunos-lunos ang sinapit ng sanggol na nagngangalang Jasmin De Vera nang malaglag ito sa tatlong talampakang taas [3ft. inches] ng kanilang higaan.

Ayon sa ama ng munting anghel na si Rolando De Vera, iniwan niya ang sanggol kasama ang ina nito si Bensie De Vera na natutulog upang bumili muna ng diaper sa kalapit tindahan.

Makaraan nito, umuwi siya at napansing wala na ang sanggol sa kanilang hinihigaan kaya naman dali-daling ginising ang ina ng biktima at sinugod agad ito sa Sta. Teresita Hospital.

Ngunit, huli na ng kanila itong dalin sa nasabing pagamutan. Idineklara na patay na ang sanggol sa oras na 9:45pm.

Nagtamo ang sanggol ng mga galos at pasa sa bahagi ng katawan nito. Bukod dito, basag din ang kanang buto sa ulo ng nasabing sanggol.

Matandang lalaki, na-hit and run sa QC

CAMP Karingal, Quezon City – Isang hindi pa rin nakikilalang lalaki, ang na-Hit and Run sa E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, Brgy. Ugong Norte, Quezon City, noong Abril 12, Huwebes.

   Patay agad ang biktima, nasa 55-65 ang edad, sanhi ng pagkakadagit ng isang sasakyan na hindi pa rin alam kung sino ang nagmamaneho, maging ang plaka nito, na agad na tumakas matapos ang aksidente.

   Ayon sa imbestigasyon ng Quezon City pulis, ang matandang lalaking biktima ay tumatawid sa naturang lugar, noong siya ay tumatawid direksyong pa-timog bandang 12:45 A.M ng Huwebes.

   Samantala, nagtamo ng matinding pinsala ang biktima, na siya namang agad na ikinamatay nito. Ang walang-buhay na katawan ng matanda ay dinala sa Prime Funeral, Commonwealth Avenue Quezon City.

Stude stabbed to death

CAMP Karingal, Quezon City—A 19 year old student, who had just come from her friend’s birthday celebration, stabbed resulting to death at Commonwealth Avenue Corner Pacemora St., Bgy. Commmonwealth Quezon City, around 12 midnight yesterday.

   Victim Mycha Shadel Vinoya, resident of Odogal St. Bgy. Commonwealth Quezon City sustained multiple stab wounds on different parts of her body.

   On the other hand, the suspect determined as ‘Fermin’ and the two other, who are still unidentified.

   According to Allen Alcaraz, Arvie Ogena, and Bryan Mark Cullera, who witnessed and also attended the said party, that the suspects blocked their way home from there and encountered a trouble, which results to the incident. In which, the 19 year old victim appeared at the scene where in ‘Fermin’ pulled a bladed weapon and quick thrust her.

   The victim was rushed to the General Malvar Hospital and declared dead on arrival at 12:05 in the morning. Rochelle Placino and Elmar Cundangan (trainee)
